HELP US ON OUR JOURNEY TO Make A Difference!

Your support is pivotal in our journey toward a fairer, more equitable society for minority children. Connecticut faces one of the most significant educational achievement gaps in the United States, disproportionately affecting minority students. This disparity underscores the urgent need for targeted efforts to promote equity in education. By addressing systemic challenges, we can unlock the potential of every child and pave the way for a brighter future.
Stark Achievement Disparities:
In Connecticut, only 27% of Hispanic third graders meet reading proficiency standards, compared to 67% of their white peers.
Graduation Rate Gaps
Approximately 70% of low-income students in Connecticut graduate from high school, highlighting a significant gap compared to their more affluent counterparts

In our beloved state of Connecticut, we are fortunate to have a vibrant and diverse community. However, we recognize that not all children have equal access to the educational opportunities they deserve. Far too many young minds are hindered by socioeconomic disparities, systemic barriers, and limited resources. At the Equity Enrichment Alliance, we believe that every child, regardless of their background, deserves a chance to thrive academically and pursue their dreams.
